Respiratory Technician (Casual)
Job Type:
CasualPrevious respiratory or EKG education preferred.
Student currently enrolled in respiratory education program.
Basic computer operation.
Customer service.
High school diploma or equivalent.
BLS.
EMR/Muse and basic computer training, EKG competency, critical value reporting, equipment reprocessing/high level disinfection education, and Lawson ordering.
Occasional ability to respond to and withstand crisis situations.
Ability to perform CPR.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Certification in BLS required.
Assists with operational tasks to include, but not limited to, pick-up and cleaning of soiled respiratory equipment processes, distribution of respiratory life support equipment, stocking/ordering of supplies and inventory; performing and processing EKGs; requires routine standing, heavy lifting and pushing.
Responsible for ensuring the very best patient/family experience by optimizing all customer interaction.
Foster a positive work environment through mutual support and cooperation.
Works under the general direction of the Team Leaders and the Respiratory Manager.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
