Wellness Coach: Beebe HealthyBack (Part Time)
Job Type:
Part TimePart time.
Training and/or certification in coaching or motivational methodologies is preferred.
Experience in health care, human service, customer service, education, fitness or marketing fields a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a health-related or life sciences field such as:
Biology, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, Athletic Training, Corporate Fitness, etc.
Experience in health care, human service or education a plus.
Natural desire and ability to establish an effective and supportive relationship with patients.
Innate interest in improving the health and well-being of patients participating with the Beebe HealthyBack program.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be well organized, motivated and able to use time effectively.
Must have exceptional ability to build rapport and motivate patients through kind and caring mannerisms and by helping them develop interest in their own success.
Provides educational information on health-related topics and resources.
The following certificates are a plus:
ATC, NATA certification; ACSM Certified Exercise Specialist or Personal Trainer.
Must complete Pure HealthyBack educational program and pass examination to be certified by Pure HealthyBack before working with patients.
A Wellness Coach at Beebe HealthyBack provides outreach, support and encouragement for connection and participation with the Beebe HealthyBack Wellness Program.
Patients participating in the Beebe HealthyBack Program are living with the effects of spinal injuries and/or chronic low back and neck pain.
The Wellness Coach promotes safe and appropriate wellness patient visits according to the Company's standardized exercise guidelines to promote a high level of patient compliance, positive treatment outcomes and improved quality of life.
The Wellness Coach performs these tasks through the following duties.
